Materials engineer turned commercialization lead.

I started in a cleanroom and a laser lab — PhD work in materials engineering at A*STAR's Data Storage Institute, then a career spent moving hardware out of labs and into customers' hands. III-V GAN Semiconductors. Solar PV. Optical sensors. Battery packs for electric vehicles. Twenty years in, the translation problem from physics to product is still my favorite kind of problem.

Today my focus is clean energy hardware: solar, battery systems, charging infrastructure, hydrogen technologies and the commercial models that decide whether a good technology ever becomes a profitable business. I'm based in Singapore, work across the region, and still read the spec sheets myself.
